The Unseen Culprit of Chronic Pain

You’re suffering from chronic pain and to be honest, you’re fed up with it.  You’ve tried almost everything that modern western medicine has to offer – various medications, x-rays, MRI’s, injections, changing your diet, a few surgeries, exercising more…and yet it’s still there.

In this blog post, I’ll explain what I believe to be one of the major unseen culprits of chronic pain and how it can be easily released so you can finally move forward with your life.

We can say it’s the big elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about it.  Yet, it’s critical with helping the body to heal itself and return back to wholeness.

Unresolved emotional experiences and chronic pain

Have you ever felt an uncomfortable emotion so strong that you were never able to let it go?

Ever wonder if it is still in your body – maybe being held in your painful neck or lower back?

When we feel an emotion so intensely and are unable to release it, that emotion can get stuck or trapped in our body.  It may be an emotion of fear, worry, anger or feeling unsupported.  These trapped emotions stay in the body for weeks, months or even years until they are released.

The muscles and tissues of the body will pick up and start to resonate with these unhealthy emotions.  As a result, they will either cause or contribute to chronic pain.

They can be the missing link to help someone be able to finally move forward in their life pain-free, that doctors or other health professionals are not looking for when you make an appointment with them.

These trapped emotions can be the size of a golf ball to the size of a grapefruit and can become lodged anywhere in the body, in areas of weakness or instability or even in the organs themselves.

For example, if someone has felt fear, unsupported, conflict, or peeved these emotions can stay stuck in the body and contribute to chronic low back pain.

Letting go of your emotional baggage

So, if these trapped emotions from past unresolved emotional experiences are staying stuck in the body contributing to chronic pain, how to you release them?

Several years ago, Dr. Bradley Nelson a chiropractor discovered this phenomenon and developed a modality called the Emotion Code to do just that.

The Emotion Code is an easy way to help someone to release these trapped emotions, often times leading to a decrease or even elimination of physical pain.

The practitioner uses muscle testing (a simple way to get a yes or no answer from the body) and can ask the client’s body if they have trapped emotions and where they are stored in their body.

Trapped emotions can be ours, emotions that we absorb from other people, or emotions that we pick up from our mother while we are in the womb.

The trapped emotion is then released and when this happens, clients’ will often comment that they notice a decrease in pain and they feel lighter.

They don’t have to bring up unpleasant memories, feelings or hash out old issues from the past when this process is being done.

A great side benefit is if there are trapped emotions that the parent has passed onto the child, releasing the trapped emotions from the parent also releases them from the child!
